Italian parmesan

Parmesan is a traditional, unpasteurized, hard cheese made from cow's skimmed milk i Sweet and fruity in aroma and pale yellow in color. Parmesans flavor is piquant but not sharp like Romano. Basically, a grating cheese. This cheese is great as a topping for soups, pasta dishes, or salads. And it is also used as a table cheese. Sold in large, grainy chunks, cut from the large wheels stamped with the name on the rind.
